Religious Education/Formación De La Fe Religious Education at Christ Our Savior Cathedral Parish is designed to not only provide formation in the Catholic faith, but also to lead both younger and older parishioners to a real transformation of heart in their relationship with Christ. With small group instruction sessions being held in homes, parishioners have the opportunity to share their faith with one another. Sacramental preparation is also provided for the following. For additional information and enrollment, please contact the parish office. Youth Ministry & Confirmation Young people are truly the church of today and we strive as a parish family to share the legacy of faith that has been passed on to us with the youth of our parish. Through adult volunteer coordinators our young people have been involved in experiences that challenge and encourage each person to grow closer in their relationship with Christ. We encourage all junior high and high school age teens to become actively involved in the life of Christ Our Savior Cathedral Parish. Some of the ways in which are young people have chosen to take on an active role in our parish is through participation in the youth music group at the 5PM Sunday Mass, World Youth Day, Steubenville Youth Conferences and as Lectors and Ushers. Pastoral Council / Consejo Parroquial
Lydia Salvetta - Recorder
The Christ Our Savior Cathedral Parish Pastoral Council consists of a group of committed parishioners who care deeply about the life of the parish and its continued development. The council serves in an advisory capacity to the Rector and meets on a regular basis to represent the needs of our parishioners. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults serves to insure that as a parish we are continuing the great call to "go out and baptize all nations." It is a process of spiritual nourishment and growth that culminates with the faithful follower of Christ joining in full communion in the Catholic Church. Adults who have not been baptized or received all the Sacraments might prayerfully consider beginning this journey toward a deeper relationship with Christ through the RCIA process. For more information relating to your specific needs, please contact the parish office. Music Ministry
